• Each winner category will get a Solo Feature in Explore Art Magazine and grace the cover of the magazine issue. The entire Explore Art Magazine issue is devoted to You!

 

• All-Winners will be promoted for two months on Explore Art social media platforms and private membership affiliations.

 

• All Winners will be promoted through Explore Art’s exclusive distribution list.

 

• PLUS A BONUS! There will be a Collection Book (based on the magazine) published for each  Winner and available to purchase for all their fans. 

 

The Explore Art Contest allows dancers to compete in all styles of dance. The most commonly seen categories are Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Open, Acro, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Folkloric, Pointe, Production, etc.

 

The Explore Art Contest allows musicians/vocalists to compete in all styles of music: Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, Rock, R&B, Soul Reggae, Opera, Classical, Folk, Country, Funk, etc.

​Judging Criteria

• TECHNIQUE- 30 POINTS

• PERFORMANCE- 30 POINTS

• CHOREOGRAPHY- 20 POINTS

• OVERALL IMPRESSION- 10 POINTS

• MUSIC/COSTUMING- 10 POINTS

Entry Fee for Solo Music or Dance is $20.00 (US dollars)

Entry Fee for Group Music or Dance is $35.00 (US dollars)

RULES

•  All contestants must be 18 years or older to register for the Explore Art Contest. 

​​

• The maximum amount of members allowed in a Group is ten (10). 

 

• All Contestants can register for the music category or dance category or register for both categories.  If contestants register for a category more than once, the contestant must register and pay the contest registration fee again.

 

• All contestants can register for the solo category or the group category or register for both categories. If contestants register for a category more than once, the contestant must register and pay the contest registration fee again.

• All Contestants can register more than once for the same category. However, the contestant cannot enter the same music and/or dance routine twice. If contestants register for a category more than once, the contestant must register and pay the contest registration fee again.

​

• All contestants must submit the music and/or dance routine by uploading mp3 or mp4 format, or videos via link public or private (in case of private enter your video URL and password) emailed. All videos must have a maximum length of 10 minutes.

 

• All contestants agree and grant permission that Explore Art will use any music & dance videos submitted for the contest promotion/advertisement purposes and posted on Explore Art social media and website platforms.
