Remote monitoring through Zoom conferencing, telephone, and text messaging. Explore Art is looking for individuals dedicated to assisting the company and developing their writing skills to learn how to write grant proposals for the organization. The grant writing assistant will assist and learn to prepare coherent, organized, and compelling proposals. The intern will learn fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals. the organization collaborates with team members in the organization to assist with other fundraising projects and learn how to establish relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Learn and assist with developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Learn and assist in displaying adherence to the organization’s mission.

Learn and assist in maintaining proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs.

Learn and assist with the execution of the development programs’ strategy.

Learn and assist in identifying grant funding opportunities.

Learn and assist in writing, submitting, and managing grant proposals.

Learn and assist in furnishing prospective funders with supporting documents.

Learn and assist in maintaining records in the computer databases.
Requirements:
-
Experience in creative writing or related field.

Helpful if you have grant writing experience.

Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.

Helpful if knowledgeable of fundraising information sources.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong people skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to meet deadlines.
